Been there a month ago and it was such an amazing experience. As a nudist person, it feels awesome to find a place where you can enjoy nature and being nude at the same time.

First time at a nude beach and it was an experience for sure. I went with my boyfriend, and even with his presence, there were a few creepy men who were staring hard at every woman and went out of their way to get closer. Including 1 guy who watched us as we set up our spot and undressed. Then he proceeded to move his stuff in front of us while we left to the water. He watched us in the water together and seemed to be waiting for me to get out to stare again.
It was overall uncomfortable and really dampened the experience. There were also a few guys we noticed who were touching themselves on the beach. It really took away from feeling at peace on the beach because of us feeling like we had to be on guard.
Beautiful beach though, the water was so calm and clear. I would not return to this area to swim again. It’s sad to say that there are men out there that take advantage of the nudity for their own perverted pleasures.

I would’ve never imagined I’d visit and participate in a nude beach but it was such an amazing freeing experience! I loved seeing all the beautiful bodies. Just no cares given. We rented a cabana for shade (they have chair, umbrella, and cabana rentals for an affordable rate). Parking was easy and the tunnel to get to beach offered a nice breeze and reprieve from the sun. 10/10 experience, will for sure be back!

Amazing to be FREE of clothing and just letting go of any stress or negativity. Would have been better if the bathrooms were on the beach side of the boardwalk. Unfortunately, you have to cover up to go to the restroom because of its location. The restroom is the last photo and it stands alone just outside of the beaches nude area, opposite of where my wife is standing on the blue entrance way. Alcohol is technically not allowed (see sign) but a lot of people had drinks. We saw people mixing drinks in cups and some had used other bottle such as a Gatorade bottle that obviously wasn’t Gatorade. I wasn’t aware of this when we came and I still just used my koozie to keep my beer cool as originally planned. We sat fairly close to the lifeguard station and nobody ever said anything about it. You likely won’t have an issue, just don’t flash it or act stupid. But if something does come up, just know it lawfully isn’t allowed and you’ll just have to suck it up and pay the fine.

If you’re new to this or have never done it. Just go. Whether it’s here or a nudist resort, just go. You’ll be glad you did.

Note: If you go to a resort, just make sure it’s a true nudist resort and not a swingers resort unless that’s what you’re looking for. Nothing wrong with either, everyone has their thing, just pointing out there are two separate types and you should find what you’re actually looking for. If you’re a nudist in a swingers area, you might be uncomfortable. If you’re a swinger in a nudist area, you might be a disappointed.

The south of the beach is great, towards the lighthouse. There are food trucks on the beach, and parking across the road is cheap, but you have to download the app to pay.

We’d never gone to a nude beach. We read reviews for nude beaches across the world and decided to go. We love Miami. I told my husband that I was “checking this off his bucket list once and not doing it again…”…. Well… it’s both our favorite beach to go to now! We stayed at the Ritz Carlton on the beach, but went to Haulover Nude beach everyday! Good people. No judgement. Super clean beach. The police constantly patrol to make sure there are no weirdos. Super safe. Love it! We now go every Spring! ENJOY!

The beach area was nice. There's a nice on-beach food place that also delivers to you if you want, and they cook the food rather well; I was impressed with the simple hotdog I ordered.

White sandy beaches, this one definitely has chairs, rentals, the food stand on the beach is nice, and it's a more expensive yet nice beach area I'd say than most other beaches. If you are into that sort of thing; I prefer sitting on a towel and being hardcore.

Let's be honest though, many people want to check out this beach specifically once or twice for a reason. Nothing against the people there, but it's a sausage fest, and also older. I'd say it's unsafe to go alone if you are a girl but up to you.

There was a constant flow of trash that I extracted from the water for fun b4 I left; probably because people who overpay to live in those towers surrounding the beach don't care or for some reason trash. The area/beach is pristine and nice.

I'd say it's a good experience if you want to explore a new beach. I walked and jogged for miles down the beach and explored. Not sure I'd go back there though, unless there's some event? Beaches are all along the coast.

Since I work remotely and I find people pollute the water, waste time/parking, I tend to find it's a better experience withoutt people there. I purposefully don't go on weekends because people are so stupid when they go on weekends and sit around there, no parking, etc.. Still I'd like to run into people like myself who are trying to be smart, avoid the crowds, it seems only retired people do that so why bother. The thrill of a new location/beach usually is not boring at least for the 1st or 2nd time for me at least even if literally nothing happens; even regardless if it's the best time ever, it probably just lasts like an hour and then I leave lol.

It’s a beautiful beach. And the people are wonderful. I met some great friends here.

The only reason I give this a 4/5 is the fact that it is clothing optional. You do get some people who show up in their swimsuits and stare. It would be ideal if they were made to stay on the other side of the fence and let the nude side of the beach be nude only.

But, overall, it is a wonderful location. Definitely worth a visit.

Nice beach, natural resource and beautiful place to enjoy it being naked...I would say there is a mix of bi naturists and lgbtq+, straight couples, a lot of visitors from Canada and London. Restrooms and showers are available as well as some concessions for food.

Just want everyone to be aware there’s homeless guy that sets his tent up on the corner by fence that goes to clothed side by trump towers that corner he sits and watches everyone once the sun goes down and the patrol leaves he steals your bags and takes off with them unfortunately me and my fiancé got robbed by him we were unfortunately not able to catch him we did call the dade county police department and they did not show up to the scene till 2 hours later so they were no help just want people to be aware and don’t leave your bags and always watch your stuff so you don’t have what happened to us. We go to Miami a lot and this is the beach we have been going to for very long time 5+ years never had issue till last year in October…. I still will give the beach 5 stars cause the beach is very nice and it’s very fun hangout there. However keep watching when you’re there on your bags at all times and don’t ever bring anything that is valuable to this beach!!!!! Again it’s the homeless man with the tent in the corner by the fence who is robbing people on the beach. Just be aware. And he’s always at that spot every time we go down throughout the year he is always there so just keep an eye out. And stay safe

Beautiful beach. Relaxing and a real vibe. You can go nude or you can just wear a bathing suit. Loung chairs , umbrellas 🌂 sun shaded cabana covers are available at a price. There's also a food truck available for snacks, sandwiches. Chips & beverages. I've met some really cool people from all over the world. Great hangout spot to have fun and relax in the sun. Justvan FYI : Sundays are the most lit days out there. Its a continuous party where you can meet friends and share cultures and experiences. I recommend bringing sunscreen. Towels or anything you want to drink. Definitely take a dip in the water. And lay down and cool off as you let the pleasures of the beach help you go fast to sleep. Take a scroll and walk end to end. Who knows, you may just find a potential out there. Usually, there are mainly travelers passing through or folks coming specifically from the beach. If being nude is not for you, I recommend going on the family side and hang out there. Other recreational activities are available like jetski's, parasailing, and powered paragliding for the adventurous of course. Whatever tickles your fancy. Most importantly though, please keep the beach clean and pack up your garbage and dispose of them in the bins provided. I hate so see people leave the beach trashed with their garbage. Go out. Live a little and enjoy the beach. Get in the water and cool down from the heat.

This has become my favorite beach. If you are a single woman, it's better with a male companion however even alone, I have really enjoyed the beach. I've met some great people who my husband and I see almost every time we are at the beach. It's where the free people are. The sand and water are perfect.

It's OK, I wish it was more relaxing. This n-beach attracts a lot of young women horsing around trying to get attention while I'm just trying to read my book. On the positive side, there aren't usually any children there which makes it more peaceful than a lot of other beaches.

I was there at evening high tide, but there was still plenty of beach sand between the entrance walkways and the water. Good showers near the south end of the clothing optional section to wash off some sand as you leave. I was there relatively late, so the food truck and chair/umbrella rentals had already shut down for the day. The lifeguard towers seemed frequently spaced, although they weren't manned when I was there. Mix of people who were or weren't taking advantage of the clothing optional status. Overall, relaxed vibes and a pleasant experience.

My husband and I were married on this beach! It was absolutely perfect. It is a clothing optional beach and gets pretty busy but at 0715 there were only a few people there. Everybody kept their distance and gave us privacy for our photo shoot. During the busy part of the day there are a lot of people but everybody is so polite and respectful. People on this beach are more friendly and outgoing than most other beaches I have been to. We are all just there to be in our natural state, to live and let live. Nobody is staring or judging one another. It was a very beautiful experience and we even made some new friends that we intend to keep in touch with for years to come. If you are nervous, don't be. Know that what you are thinking is pretty much what everybody thinks. Just relax and enjoy your freedom.

I've never had to sunscreen my cheeks before..... but glad I did. That Florida sun is no joke! First time to a nude anything, and to be honest, it was a blast. We were a bit concerned at first, but we figured why not try it out. So glad we did. Our concerns slowly went away well after we found our correct location on the beach. If you don't know, like us, we didn't do too much reading. We just went for it and we wound up in the gay area. No judgment, just not our area lol. So we soon find out from some sort of worker that there are gay ,LGBTQ, straight ,couples, and single areas. All areas seemed nice and had their own vibes going. Again, no judgment. It was just a bit odd to me when my smoking hot wife is standing next to me, and I'm the one getting checked out. LOL, we have an amazing experience and memories that will be great stories in the future. We will 100% be back to Florida just to come to this beach.

Been coming here for many years with my husband and our boys. We have a 6 year old and a 9 year old. Yes this is a clothing optional beach, but all ages area allowed and there has never been an issue. Very similar to beaches in Europe. The beach has lifeguards and police so your family will be safe. And yes in case your wondering, Nude kids and adults can be on the beach and its totally legal. There is no funny business going on here, just people enjoying the beach the way nature intended. The state has made it very clear that areas set aside for nude use is 100% legal for all. So there is no worries that you are doing something wrong. Our family loves the food truck, we can come to the beach and dont need to pack a lunch or get dressed to get something! Showers are available to rinse off prior to leaving the clothing optional area. This is one of the best clothing optional beaches in the world. Do not hesitate to take your family, you will have a great time. There are about 4 numbered life guards stands on the beach. Families usually set up closer around the sound end of the clothing optional area around 13 or 14, that is also where the food truck is and where the bathrooms are. (you do have to get dressed to get to the restrooms unfortunely)

One of our favorite beaches to go to when flying into FLL.
The parking is easy, pay by phone app at $8.xx per day. If you're early, you can snag a good shady spot up front by the trees or the few trees large enough in the parking lot. After 4pm in the summer, park closer to the Marine building and your car will be shaded the entire time.
There are bathrooms w/ shower/rinse stations outside the beach. The shower inside the beach to rinse before dressing is my favorite of the place.
There are rentals available and a food truck there now.
We nearly never have any behavior problems from others and if there are, moving further south down the beach can resolve it. There tend to be less people that direction and hardly anyone playing music loudly.

A liberating place where you can be yourself. You can be as clothed or unclothed as you want, with no judgement. The beach is very nice (sand can be hot in July). It is right on the ocean so surf can be a little rough depending on weather conditions. Rental for two chairs and an umbrella is $65, so be prepared if you aren't bringing your own. I would highly recommend for the novice or experienced.

Recently visited this beach with my family. At first was a little nervous because I had never been to a nude beach before. I was apprehensive about taking my 7 year old but after doing my research I found there’s not an age restriction and EVERYONE is welcome. Parking is great and inexpensive. The water and sand are beautiful and the sunny isles buildings make for a perfect backdrop. Taking off all your clothes in front of strangers is definitely nerve wracking but once you do, YOU ARE FREE! It feels amazing to let the sun shine where it usually doesn’t and swimming naked is the best! Facilities include showers, restrooms and a food truck. People are all minding their own and enjoying. My wife had a great time and so did our 7 year old. We went a couple of times and at first we were the only family there, but the second day we went we saw another family with young kids. Yes, the kids can get naked too! It’s not creepy or frowned upon everyone is very respectful. Definitely going to visit again as it was an unforgettable experience. 100% recommend this beach to everyone. It’s ok to feel shy and nervous at first but you certainly won’t regret it. Definitely a lot to see so don’t forget your sunglasses!! Just don’t be a creep!

Haulover is a typical beach in South Florida, some waves, blue waters, etc., with the only difference being clothing is optional. Do not confuse it with the "regular" Haulover beach. I always encourage folks to bring their items, coolers are allowed and all the food items you may want. There aren't any places to get food on site so it is recommended.

Very relaxing and calm, no one really cares about what you engage in, as long as a scene isn't being made.

I visited Haulover Beach back in 2015 after driving back to Georgia from a 7-day cruise. Really enjoyed the freedom, great beach. I'm handicapped now, but I plan on going back now that I have an electric wheelchair.

Parking is easy . Flat Rate on the weekends. You can come and go with no problem or worry about losing a parking spot. Water is good and gets deep real fast so watch out for non swimmers !

Parking is just across the street. There is a nice under bridge access for pedestrians so you dont have to cross traffic. Separate (very large) section for nudity. The separation is a small piece of picket fence, so if you don't want your kids to see nakedness, make sure you stay further away from the fence. We came for the naked side and were surprised to see a few people with their kids just on the other side of the fence from dozens of fully naked men and a handful of naked women. There is plenty of nice beach to lay out on. They have lifeguard shacks about every 100 yards. The water stays under 5 feet deep for a long way.

I recently visited Haulover Nude Beach for the first time, and it was an unforgettable experience. Coming from a country where nudity on beaches is illegal, I was initially apprehensive. However, my visit turned out to be liberating and incredibly positive.

The beach itself is beautiful, with clean sands and clear waters. The atmosphere is very welcoming and respectful, with a strong sense of community among visitors. It felt completely natural to be there, and any initial nerves quickly disappeared.

The facilities are well-maintained, and there are plenty of amenities, including restrooms, showers, and convenient parking. The lifeguards and staff are professional and friendly, ensuring a safe environment for everyone.

What stood out the most was the accepting and non-judgmental vibe of the beach. People of all ages, shapes, and sizes are present, and there’s a refreshing sense of body positivity and freedom.

If you’re curious or considering visiting a nude beach, I highly recommend Haulover. It’s a place where you can truly relax and enjoy the sun without any reservations. I’ll definitely be returning on my next visit to the area!

My 1st time there. Was kinda nice and relaxing. Rented a cabana for my wife because she doesn't tan. Realized right after we got set up that we were in the gay section on the north side but it really wasn't an issue. Will return next year probably. Only thing I disliked was all the cigarette butts just thrown down on the sand. Some people just don't care I guess.

I wish there was an option to give 0 stars… my entire honeymoon was ruined by the lack of decency on this beach. My relationship has ended due to an act of seduction by members on this beach. My ex-husband and i are avid nudists/naturalists and these are the only beaches we indulge in… until now (at least on my part, we do not speak anymore). My experience on this beach was earth-shattering and unforgettable. Let me paint the picture for you… after about a 40 minute walk from the parking lot to the beach (holding heavy bags, mind you) and wading through the murky human feces to get there, we set up camp. The water was stunning, so no complaints there! That is until.. 3 nude dancers marched their way over to me and my ex-husband. Despite the “Bride” sash I had on with nothing under, these ladies invited my ex-husband to engage in, let’s just say, inappropriate activities, with them, and much to my surprise, he obliged. Needless to say, i stormed off and flew back home to our 3 kids. We have not spoken to him since, for all i know, he is still with those 3 ladies on that cursed beach today.

Naturalist nude beach, listed as one of the top 10 best beaches in the world. Shallow warm water and visual delights. Large bathrooms showers and changing area.Considered a very safe beach, overseen by their own park guides to protect everyone. There’s a gay 🌈section on the north end next a woman’s section, further south a straight section, and the section for the south is the family section. No alcohol strictly enforced with heavy $$Fines! Plenty of parking best to come early in the day. You only live once live free… five stars.Haulover naturalist associations and events in their website. Sometimes you see dolphins here, Dolphins are fierce protectors of people.Gentle playful.

Our first time visiting a nude beach, the different beaches were clearly marked, the staff was very helpful with any questions we had! We felt so comfortable and safe as well. The beach area wasn't too crowded. All good vibes!! We will definitely be back! We had a great experience!!

Quiet, cozy, relaxing and laid back area of the beach with PLENTY to see. Everyone is respectful and discreet. Been here multiple times over the last several years. No one crosses the line. If you come with an open mind, and casually strike a good conversation with someone, you might just be in luck for a good time at the beach and even more fun while taking the party somewhere else.

Amazing beach. 5 stars can't even describe how much this beach means to me. Not only is the weather perfect all year round, the sights are amazing. Love the area and people.
The prices here are phenomenal, locals are amazing and kind. The owner is an absolute delight. I am very disappointed in the 4.8 it has now. It should be 5.
I would sacrifice my first born to be here again.

I absolutely love visiting this beach and getting naked every time I come into the clothing optional section. Especially in December. Seriously, when the weather is right, you can feel completely relaxed, moreso than with swim trunks on. You actually have to try to be stressed when sunbathing nude.

Made a lot of nude friends as well, and made some memories that will last forever.

Will be visiting again in February.

"When in Rome..." this was a fun experience. The further in to the beach I ventured looking for my spot to be free, the more prude I became. It was hilarious!! And mister you have no pockets to carry anything, what do you keep dropping? Another gentleman was doing leg lifts & push ups. It was great! A lot of people had those personal sunbrella things to give them privacy or what not but honestly didn't have gross vibe to it or anything. Coming from Minnesota I had to check this beach out.
It is unusual to find a beach that allows you to swim bare (swimsuit free) and I love the experience.

A place for everyone! Clothed/Families section, Clothing optional section and the nude section which is mostly gay men. We had never been to a nude beach before and right when we stripped down, a higher understanding of self-acceptance took over. People are not gawking, non judgemental, self assured and some of the nicest men that you'll come across.
We met Martin who was instrumental in the opening of Haulover over 30 years ago. Martin just gleamed with appreciation of how things have turned out.

Very nice clean and respectful beach, many older people, few young people but you can be totally naked without feeling uncomfortable, bring an umbrella and chairs, too. Drinks, it is almost impossible to get anything there, everything is very far away, we arrive by public transport that leaves you a 10-minute walk away, there are good places to tan

This beach was absolutely fun and relaxing! It was my first time to a nude beach so I didn't know what to expect, but it was way more relaxing than a regular beach. It was quiet as well compared to other public beaches. Parking was pretty convenient too and not expensive to park in the North parking lot. Recommend it!

Still…. More than a year later…Terrible parking arrangement.

To the “owner” who thinks I am a fake reviewer. I’m a Google Guide with hundreds of reviews and a lot of common sense. Plus I have years of experience administrating events and parking lots. Which you obviously need. The problem is that the main parking lot across from the beach is always closed at 1pm even while cars are leaving. The next lot to it, is in construction as you mentioned, so one has to park way up the road and have a 30-40min walk with chairs, umbrellas, cooler. You try to do that instead of being in that golf cart! Why close the lot??? Let people circle and wait for an available spot if they want. You are forcing traffic to go to a very inconvenient lot and people have to walk way too far. The people in the golf cart should simply be there advising cars that there is another lot further down IF people don’t want to wait and circle. What a terrible system.

Terrific place to relax and enjoy getting some sunshine. Even where the Sun usually doesn't shine. The parking lot is a pay lot. You can pay with a credit card from your car. Just scan the QR code located near the entrance. And even add funds to your meter from your beach chair. How convenient is this. The biggest bonus is you don't have to wear the latest "in fashion" bathing suit. Wear what you wore upon your BIRTH day. Nothing. Be sure to have suntan lotion.

Overall a great beach! It was very clean and seemed well-patrolled. My partner and I visited twice during our visit to the Ft. Lauderdale/ Miami area. Unfortunately there were quite a few jellyfish in the water both days, but we were able to swim for at least a little bit. Everyone was respectful on the beach. There was definitely some questionable behavior going on a few times, but nothing too forward or obvious.

Parking was kind of a nightmare - the only officially open lot was all the way south, not near the nude beach area at all. The one closer to the nude section was blocked off from the main road, but we were able to use some dirt side road to access it. The main/ further lot was free, while the closer one was paid (but cheap). You are required to wear clothing until you reach the beach. They have rinse off stations and bathrooms, but no private/enclosed showers.

Fabulous beach, my husband and I really enjoyed our 2 days here! Lots of road work currently but parking at the North Marina was great, just walked across the street to the nude beach! The food truck is really good lots of options! Enjoyed meeting people from all over the world, super mixed crowd! We will definitely be back!

$12 parking you can only use the park by phone app. I suggest you do that before you get there as service is not good in the parking lot. I’d park at lot1 to be close to the nude side. You can rent an umbrella for $25 or a shell for $40 chairs are $10. There’s a food truck there food is pretty good but a little pricey. So bring your cooler with drinks and food. No glass containers allowed they will Fine you! From tower 11-14 is the general family side tower 14 is mostly the melanated 14-16 there’s lots of different groups of people that are frequently there every Sunday. 16 down is what we call the rainbow side. Bathrooms are always clean there are working showed available outside. Sundays it’s normally packed and parking does close so get there early or after 2 pm. Otherwise your going to have a very long walk.

I'm going there today for my time , I'm giving it five stars because of the owner . I completely understand how the ratings can go down because of a loser and a fake. I appreciate the fact that he stays on his reviews that's good customer . That tells me that the beach is everything the owner. Says it is. Owner thanks ,I can't wait

One of the best places along Florida coast for clothing optional beaches. As always loved the beautiful water and lots of sunshine! Everyone is pleasant and the beaches were very clean. Diverse mixture of folks. Annually part of our travel plans for beach scene!

As a 25-year-old, the nude beach offered a thrilling escape from societal norms. The carefree atmosphere, and stunning coastal views made it a memorable experience. However, be prepared for the open-mindedness of others and respect personal boundaries. An exciting adventure for the daring and open-minded.

Clean and tidy beach. You have to be brave but I use option of clothes on 😅

They put food truck which serves delicious hamburgers. 😋

Meanwhile renting an umbrella is 25$. I search that beach umbrellas are sold 50$ in local shops. I mean the management should consider price policy. 🙏

They do a decent job with the seaweed every morning, the beach is beautiful of course, and the creepy old men have always been polite so far, its the younger ones ya gotta watch out for! 😅 There are no restrooms close by and only one shower area, which is closely monitored by more creeps. The whole area (miami) needs to be picked up of garbage and there are certain areas that smell of human feces (or actually have it smeared or randomly dropped on the sidewalk).
Overall, wouldn't recommend going alone, and bring some pepper spray. But, totally cool being at one with nature, naked, watching the sunrise.

What to say about this place!! We visited in first week of the March, It was one of the dream places for us! We always wanted to experience a nude beach and this came out to be the best first experience we could have, I personally liked being there so much that in our 2 days stay in Miami , I went there both the days! We did not feel awkward or odd at any point of time, most of the people liked to be at their own and enjoyed their groups. Being there you realize that we are beyond our body shape, color and size! You feel Free, you feel the water and the breeze all over your body, I would say it’s an experience which everyone must have at least once.

There were two creepy guys those were bothering the girls laying next to us, not at the level to get reported then later the girls moved to other place. Patrolling was done frequently

Parking: you need to pay from the app and it’s $5 for sunrise to sunset. Parking was easy available.

Restrooms: there are restrooms just after the underpass and there are open shower stations before entering the beach

Lots: the pathway takes you to lot 15, as I remember lot 11-lot 17 are clothing optional areas, north lots are mostly for gays and south side for others. You will find older people sitting around lot 15. Feel free to walk around before you settle your place.

Rentals: Umbrellas and beach chairs are available at the beach,$15 for Umbrella and $25 for beach chair. If you can carry these to the beach then You can also rent these from outside for the whole day at much lesser price. Do not underestimate the power of Sun, first day we dint carry umbrellas and we got Sunburns all over body, use aloe vera gel if you also suffer.

Overall a 5 Star experience, don’t miss it guys and girls!

Absolutely beautiful nude beach. Very safe and clean. Easy parking is also a HUGE plus! I love the diversity of people who come to enjoy this beach. From families with kids, to couples, to elderly folks. It’s a really wonderful safe, comfortable and judgment-free space for everyone to come and enjoy the Florida sun, sans clothes!

Miami-Dade boast this gem of a beach. If you know you know, but one of South Florida’s premier and world renowned beach’s is Haulover Beach. The more northern section of the beach is clothing optional. The water is usually beautiful hues of blue from a turquoise to an emerald like color. The temp is usually 75 and above getting into high 90s during the summer. I found freedom on this beach, I suggest you check it out too!

Love the turquoise ocean, beach is clean, parking is a breeze off Collins street, walk in tunnel under highway & you’re at the beach. Umbrella/chair rentals and food service available. Clothing is optional great place to relax and tan!
